Lake Grove ENT is excited to introduce a new spectrum of Laser and Aesthetic services.

Longtime provider Dr. Michelle Vessely and incredible aesthetic technician Sarah have been providing these services in private practice since 2001, and now Lake Grove ENT has incorporated those services into a new joint service line known as Lake Oswego Laser Aesthetics—or just “Lola” for short.

Laser Treatments

With a wealth of experience performing cosmetic laser procedures, we can help determine which options are best for you. Whether you are interested in a no-downtime lifting procedure such as Ultherapy, or you choose a full face and neck fractional CO2 resurfacing treatment to reduce acne scars or deeper wrinkles, the team at Lola has the skills, equipment and expertise to help you improve your most important accessory—your skin!

Dr. Vessely has been an innovator in this field in Portland for many years, offering treatments such as Ultherapy, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), and non-ablative, ICON 1540 and Clear & Brilliant treatments).

When you come in for your consultation, be prepared to remove your makeup. Our providers will examine your facial skin and listen to your goals as she discusses a range of treatment options. Injectables

Injectable cosmetic procedures are the mainstay of aesthetic treatments – that is, assuming a basis of good skin care and sunscreen use. Whether used as preventive measures, to treat early signs of aging, or as a compliment to a surgical or laser procedure, injectables such as BOTOX® Cosmetic and Juvéderm are quick, easy and highly effective procedures. Our team has extensive experience with injectables and can help you determine which treatment is the best choice for your individual goals.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is used to weaken muscle contractions in very specific muscles. Typically used to treat frown lines, forehead creases, crow’s feet, it may also be used to improve upper lip lines, platysmal bands in the neck and to lift the downturn at the corner of the mouth. Injectable fillers are used to restore volume to areas of the face that lose volume due to injuries, acne scars as well as the natural process of aging. We only use absorbable fillers with a proven safety record. The Juvéderm family, by Allergan, provides a nice spectrum of fillers to use, and we will work with you to decide which is best to help you achieve your goals. Voluma can lift and highlight your cheeks while Vollure fills finer lines in the lower face. Volbella is designed for lip lines and Juvéderm Ultra and Ultra Plus provide volume for lips and facial lines. These fillers typically last between 12 and 24 months, depending on the filler and the area treated.

Topical Skin Care

At Lola, we offer select products which have been thoroughly researched and can make recommendations to customize a skin care regimen for your needs. When you meet with our providers, you will hear that the first step in skin care is the daily use of a broad-spectrum sunscreen. Sunscreens of SPF 15 or higher are recommended year-round. Applying a sunscreen should be a part of your daily routine. Be advised that not all sunscreens are alike; some only protect against UVB rays, others (broad-spectrum) provide protection against both UVA and UVB. All our sunscreens contain zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide – two great defenses against the sun’s harmful rays.

Next, you will hear of the importance of a good skin care regimen, one that is tailored to your specific needs. Our highly trained medical staff can help you select products that will enhance your skin’s appearance and that will be an essential part of maintaining the results of any skin care procedure.  We offer OBAGI, Epionce, Colorescience, NeoCutis, retinoids, glycolic acid products, hydroquinone, Vitamin C serum, and many other topical solutions with the professional potency necessary to be effective.
